IPU CET 2018 exam was held in May for admissions to all B.Tech undergraduate programs in the University affiliated colleges. The exam was attended by thousands of students this year who wish to get admission in a good engineering college and branch under IPU. About CGSIPU:

Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is a deemed University located in Delhi. The University affiliates several engineering and other colleges throughout the country. IPU conducts a common entrance examination every year in May-June to select students for admissions in the engineering undergraduate courses offered by the University. IPU Common Entrance Test (CET) 2018 exam results will be announced on the University website within a few weeks of the exam. Candidates, who appeared in the exam this year, can check their results using their CET 2018 roll number and other details on the official website mentioned below.

IPU CET Result 2018:

The University will publish results for all candidates on its official website. No result or score card will be communicated separately to each candidate. Procedure to check IPU CET 2018 Result:

Those, who attended IPU CET entrance exam this year, can follow the process below to check their result on the official website.

  1. Visit Indraprastha University website ipu.ac.in
  2. Click on “CET 2018 Results” link from the information menu.
  3. Click on the respective link for your CET exam/subject code.
  4. Enter your CET 2018 Roll Number, select the program and Submit
  5. Your IPU CET 2018 result will appear on the screen.
  6. Download or print your result and score card.

It is mandatory for students to download a soft copy or take a print out of the result to appear in the counselling process.

IPU CET 2018 Cutoff and Score Card:

The score cards of individual candidates will be uploaded on the website along with results. Candidates can download their CET exam score cards by following the same steps mentioned above. Your score card will mention your subject-wise score obtained in the CET 2018 exam. It will also have the CET 2018 cutoff, maximum marks, and your exam status. The University will decide a minimum qualifying cutoff to select students for the counselling process. The cutoff and obtained marks will be separately available in the respective exam scores of individual candidates.

IPU CET Counselling 2018:

IPU will begin the CET 2018 counselling process only a few days after the announcement of IPU CET Result 2018. The counselling will be held to grant admission to the right engineering college and branch based on the scores obtained by IPU CET qualified candidates. Only students, who achieved the minimum qualifying score in the exam, will be eligible to participate in the counseling.

Counselling fee:

The counselling fee for CET 2018 is Rs 1000 for each candidate. It is mandatory for all students to register online to participate in the process. Students will be able to fill their choices of colleges and engineering courses as per their CET 2018 score. After the final allotment and document verification, students will be given admission to their selected courses and colleges for the 2018-2022 session.
